TASMANIA CAMPING HIRE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Definitions:

  • "TAS Camping Hire" refers to Tasmania Camping Hire.

  • "Customer" refers to the individual or entity renting equipment from TAS Camping Hire.

  • "Equipment" encompasses all camping gear, tents, accessories, and any other items offered for rental by TAS Camping Hire.

2. Booking and Rental Agreement:

  • By booking and renting equipment from TAS Camping Hire, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.

  • Booking requests can be made via our website, email, or phone. Reservations are confirmed upon payment.

3. Equipment Usage:

  • The customer agrees to use the rented equipment only for its intended purpose and in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines.

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all tents provided by TAS Camping Hire.

  • Any damage or excessive wear and tear beyond normal use is the responsibility of the customer and may result in additional charges.

4. Liability and Responsibility:

  • TAS Camping Hire shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, death, or property damage directly or indirectly resulting from the use of our equipment.

  • The customer is responsible for any losses, damages, or theft of equipment that occurs between the pick-up and return dates.

5. Equipment Pick-up and Return:

  • The customer is responsible for verifying the equipment's condition at the time of pick-up and reporting any pre-existing damage to TAS Camping Hire.

  • Upon return, the customer must ensure that all equipment is cleaned and in the same condition as when rented. Additional cleaning charges may apply if equipment is returned in a dirty or unclean state.

  • Late returns may incur additional charges, and customers are responsible for adhering to agreed-upon pick-up and return dates and times.

6. Cancellations and Refunds:

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up date will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled pick-up date are eligible for a 50% refund.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the scheduled pick-up date.

7. Reservation Changes:

  • Changes to reservations are subject to availability and must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the pick-up date.

  • TAS Camping Hire reserves the right to charge an administrative fee for reservation changes.

8. Safety and Legal Compliance:

  • The customer is responsible for using the equipment safely and in compliance with all local laws and regulations.

  • TAS Camping Hire is not responsible for any fines, penalties, or legal consequences resulting from the customer's use of our equipment.

9. Ownership and Inspection:

  • All equipment remains the property of TAS Camping Hire.

  • TAS Camping Hire reserves the right to inspect equipment at any time.

10. Privacy and Data Handling:

  • TAS Camping Hire may collect and store customer data for booking and contact purposes. Customer data is treated with confidentiality and is not shared with third parties without consent.

11. Governing Law:

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes or legal matters shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Australia.

12. Amendment of Terms:

  • TAS Camping Hire reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website or notification to customers.
